You Put In The Work. Your Salon Should Pay You For It.

One-time $149 salon profit diagnostic • No ongoing fees
A salon with 206 Google reviews had a revenue gap hiding in plain sight. What could a $149 Profit Diagnostic uncover in your salon?
Most Groomers Aren't Struggling Because Business Is Slow.
More clients aren’t always the answer.
- You're working full days but the take-home doesn't show it
- Raising prices feels risky when you're not sure where you stand
- You know something isn't working, but you're not sure what
- Working harder isn't exactly an option

Real Salon Snapshots
Revenue gaps can hide in places you might not expect. Here’s what we found in real grooming businesses.
Jazzy Paws Dog Grooming
She didn’t need more clients. She needed her online presence to match the business she wanted.
Jazzy Paws had a 4.9-star Google rating, 42 reviews, and a reel with 8,600+ views. Jazzy Paws was intentionally a lower-volume salon with a more boutique approach. Without a standalone website, there wasn’t much space to communicate that difference or show potential clients what made the experience worth choosing.
What the diagnostic found:
The opportunity wasn’t simply more visibility. It was creating an online presence that better reflected the boutique business she was building.
Bark & Bone
A strong business can still make it harder than it should be for customers to choose it.
Bark & Bone already had a 4.9-star rating with more than 200 reviews, an established website, online booking, and an active social presence. But there were gaps in the customer journey. Grooming wasn’t immediately prominent on the website. Pricing wasn’t visible until someone reached the booking system. And their Google profile was categorized primarily as a Pet Supply Store.
What the diagnostic found:
The business already had plenty working in its favor. The opportunity was making it easier for potential clients to understand what Bark & Bone offered and take the next step.
The Pet Stop
The business looked established. But booking was harder than it needed to be.
The Pet Stop already had strong branding, hundreds of reviews, an established Facebook audience, and real customer testimonials on its website.
But there was no pricing on the site and appointments could only be booked by phone. That meant potential clients had to take extra steps just to understand what services might cost and schedule an appointment.
What the diagnostic found:
The biggest opportunity wasn’t rebuilding what was already working. It was removing friction between someone finding the business and actually booking.
Ultimutt K-9
Nearly 30 years of experience, but you wouldn’t know it from the website.
Ultimutt K-9 had decades of experience, a 4.8-star Google rating, and multiple pet services. The business had already built real credibility.
But that credibility wasn’t carrying through to the customer experience. The website didn’t showcase its reviews, pricing was hard to find, and booking required a phone call. A new visitor had to do too much work to understand why they should choose Ultimutt K-9 and what to do next.
What the diagnostic found:
The business didn’t need to prove it was established. It needed to make the experience it had already built easier for potential clients to see, understand, and act on.
Why I Built Groomer Brand Lab
I’m Laura Rodriguez, and I’ve seen the grooming business from two very different sides: inside the salon and behind the business strategy.
I worked in a grooming salon and saw firsthand how hard this work is and how little support groomers get on the business side. I also spent years wanting to open my own salon, so I understand the dream and the obstacles.
At the same time, I’ve spent nearly 5 years as a full-time marketing specialist, running Google and Facebook ad campaigns, building SEO strategies that drive real traffic growth, and managing email marketing programs for an actual company, not as a hobby.
I built Groomer Brand Lab because grooming is a skilled trade that deserves real business support. You spent years mastering your craft. You shouldn’t also be expected to magically know how to price, market, hire, manage, and make sense of the numbers.
That’s where GBL comes in. Practical business support built specifically for groomers.
